Evaluation and Therapy services
Dr. Aranda provides psychological evaluations and assessments for teenagers and adults. She is also trained as a generalist practitioner with competencies in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Feminist Therapy.
Specialties include relationship concerns, perfectionism, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, “people-pleasing”, anxiety, depression, family issues (separation and individuation challenges), career counseling, identity development (race/ethnicity, sexuality, gender, and religious), substance abuse, and stress management. Advanced knowledge in working with LGBTQQIA populations, individuals who identify as first-generation and/or immigrant, and communities of color (i.e., Latinx, African American, biracial/multiracial, etc.).
