Dr. Jean Franco works with individuals (young adults to seniors) interested in bringing change to their lives. Therapy is from a cognitive behavioral approach (CBT) utilizing motivational interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, with an overall client centered approach to facilitate safety and acceptance. Jean also uses EMDR and Neurofeedback to assist the person's progress depending on the reason for referral.

Bio: Dr. Franco completed a doctoral program through Saybrook Graduate School and is a licensed Clinical Psychologist following completion of a Master’s of Science degree in Rehabilitation through the University of Arizona. He has over twenty years experience in evaluation, specialized training in neuropsychological evaluation, ADD/ADHD/LD assessments, EMDR and Neurofeedback treatment for stressors affecting attention and emotional adjustment. He also provides socialization support for adults on the autistic spectrum; adults struggling with ADHD and other issues. Jean has a passion for his work and the positive effect evaluation and therapy can bring to people’s lives.
Dr. Franco recently retired from a staff position at University of California Berkeley where he provided services as a Clinical Psychologist working with the general student population. In addition, he served as liaison with the Disabled Students' Program, and developed an in-house program for students seeking evaluation for possible Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, provided a weekly Assessment Seminar to train Doctoral Interns with the UC Berkeley Counseling and Psychological Services department, facilitated a support group for students on the Autistic Spectrum, and was a member of the Trans Care Health Team working with Gender Non-Conforming students, and provided outreach to students with disabilities.

- Out of Network is for individuals having insurance coverage other than Aetna or Anthem Blue Cross, and wishing to seek reimbursement from their provider for fees paid for either therapy or evaluation services. *
Neuro/psychological evaluation fees may vary with the testing necessary and are billed at $140 hourly (for testing, interpretation, follow up discussion with the client, and report writing/documentation) and determined prior to initiating the evaluation.
Therapy fees are $160 per 50 minute session.
Fees are due at the time of service and all major credit/debit cards are accepted.
